It has a 3.9″ Gorilla Glass AMOLED capacitive display with 854 x 480 res., a 1GHz CPU, 16 gigs of internal storage and a sealed 1450 mAh battery. It’s a GSM unlocked pentaband phone with 3G HSPA+ 14.4 on AT&T, T-Mobile and overseas bands. Unfortunately, Nokia won’t be making lots of these as this is the first MeeGo Harmattan smartphone.

here isn’t much else I can add to the many 5-star reviews here – but I do want to mention a couple of things. First of all, mine is clearlly a 9020T, marked that way both on the package and under the battery cover. As several other reviewers have mentioned, make sure that you order yours from Amazon LLC and not one of their other suppliers if you want to ensure you get a 9020T. The display is absolutely beautiful and the phone feels more solid than I thought it would. That said, I’m not thrilled with the pop-off battery cover – it seems fairly strong and I have to assume both Samsung and Google tested it. Replacement covers are plentiful and reasonable on *-bay so I’m going to order a replacement just in case. I’m also surprised and happy with how Samsung implemented the SIM card slot – I recently damaged another phone by using a micro-sim card adaptor. The Nexus S is well designed in this regard and you don’t have to worry about swapping out SIM cards. Overall, I am 100% pleased with this phone so far and highly recommend it.

Permission to use granted by Nokia Taiwan! Nokia just presented the Nokia N9 smartphone which is the result of Nokia’s MeeGo effort. The device is rumored to run on MeeGo Harmattan and ship in Q3 to folks in Europe and boast a 960 x 540 screen resolution. These facts sadly weren’t confirmed during the press event however they did give quite an impressive walk through of many of the operating system features.
First off the hardware is stunning, the glass fits seamlessly and curves over the bezzel, they’ve also included swipe gestures for navigation so there is no need for a home key. Regarding the hardware the screen polycarbonate is the same colour through out so if it scratches they wont be visible. Also, the screen material used is designed to give great antena reception so you won’t have to hold it in any special manner to ensure great quality. (This was a nice quite dig at Apple and the only one I picked up at during the walk through, good job keeping it classy Nokia!) The inclusion of NFC is also a nice touch for pairing of devices as well as jumping on the mobile payment bandwagon in a timely manner.
