Microsoft’s Stephen Toulouse, the Xbox LIVE’s vocal policy and enforcement director, announced today on his personal blog that he would be leaving the company, effective February 15. Toulouse has been with Microsoft for almost 18 years, five of which have been spent leading the charge for security on Xbox LIVE.
As Toulouse notes in the post, his reasons for leaving Microsoft are “complex and personal, but the parting could not be more amicable”. He also doesn’t name who will be his successor at Microsoft, but states that Microsoft has “top men working on an orderly transition. Top men.”

Looking at the Blackberry Curve 8320 you cannot say much except, “Beautiful!” A stylish metallic exterior lends that extra zing to this phone. This is a phone that you will always want to show off. It seems the phone is based on the old adage, “Great things come in small packages”. This phone is about as small as you could get considering the features it’s packed with.

A full QWERTY keyboard is the first thing you will notice about this phone weighing in at a mere 3.9 ounces. This is coupled well with the very functional trackball; which will make browsing a fun experience acting like a mini mouse. The screen is of a good resolution and can vary its brightness in accordance with the brightness of the light in its vicinity. The 2 mega pixel camera has reasonably good picture quality and has in-built zoom and flash. The phone comes with a media player; which can play your mp3 and video files and a 64 MB memory which is expandable using MicroSD cards. With a 312MHz Intel XScale processor, the Blackberry Curve 8320 will perform your tasks fairly quickly.

The Blackberry Curve 8320 comes with Wi-Fi support, just like the Blackberry 8820. Except here, the phone allows for voice calls to be made via the Wi-Fi network, even when the GSM network may be a little dodgy, with good voice clarity. It can also switch from the Wi-Fi to the GSM without considerable effort and no lost calls. You can also access your mail and surf the net, at your leisure.

The phone makes internet access quite straight-forward with its highly capable browser; which supports tables and some JavaScript and CSS too. An organizer is provided to help you manage your contacts, dates and appointments. You can sync with your computer and backup anything important. The phone can also be used as a tethered or a wireless modem, to surf the net from you laptop or PC. You will also find that the Bluetooth capabilities used for hands-free support; make the whole deal a little sweeter.
